A Great Way to Dust Your Furniture
- Christopher Dunlap
Ever wonder how to dust properly? I am always busy with clients at Mops & Buckets that even my own home takes a back seat to cleaning. If you are short on time and want to tackle that dusty furniture without making a dust storm fly around the house, follow these steps and your house will be allergy and dust free in no time! If you don’t have time for this you can always give us a call or send us an email and we’d be happy to clean your home.
The best way to tackle these allergens is not actually just from using a spray and old rag. Dusting sprays are great to get that shine, but sometimes it can just make all the dust fly all over the place and settle else where in the home. That’s not really how to get rid of it. From my experience the best way to get rid of dust and allergens in your home is as follow:
For real dusty areas just take a microfiber cloth and lightly go over the area. Then turn over the dusting cloth and use your favorite spray, but be careful not to over do it. Then wipe the area again and now your furniture isn’t just dust free but you’ve eliminated the amount of dust in the air and on your cloth!
We recommend always using two microfiber cloths for heavily affected areas of your home. Some other great products we also recommend for a solid dusting performance include:
- Microfiber Cloths or Magnetic Dusting Cloths
- Pledge Multi Surface
- Swifter Dusters (good in between dusting the entire home or small areas
